The latest version of the Opera browser sends multiple invalid requests to our servers for every page you visit. The most common causes of this issue are: I always thought finishing the last chapter with the starting character was always cool, because it made them seem like the main protagonist of the overall journey.Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. When it came to the Chapter 4s, I would play them in reverse order of when I played the Chapter 1s. I would usually have my starting character over leveled, 1-2 characters near the “recommended” level, and then 1-2 who were under leveled, but would usually catch up in time by the end of the chapter I’m playing. To me, that would help balance it a bit in terms of grinding. I had a system on which characters would be in what specific chapter, and always made sure everyone had an equal amount of play time, but that’s too complicated to get into for now. This is probably a bit much, but I had spreadsheets lined out planning every single party for each individual chapter and what their jobs would be (I LOVE a good spreadsheet lol). I played all the Chapter 1s together, Chapter 2s together, etc, and always in order of lowest recommended level to highest. until of course the secret boss forced me to make two parties so I had to grind, LMAO! Not sure what I'm going to do if that's a thing in the 2nd game, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there. This kept everyone appropriately leveled since the 3 main party members carried the 4th member as they soak up levels themself to catch up.īy the time I finished everyones' stories, my benched travelers were in the 40s, which is around the recommended level for their chapter 4s. What I did to solve this as best as I could was pick three characters who felt the most important to have in a party (Therion - who was my MC and can open purple chests - Cyrus' ability to give you a free analysis is godlike, and Ophilia since I can't have a JRPG party without a healer) but then leave the 4th slot opened to cycle in and out party members when it was time to do their stories. ![]() But I still had a set party I liked to use so certain travelers would always be benched. For the latter, I managed to somehow avoid it, lol. This of course affects the rate of when I get new party members and makes me not pay attention to how many chapters I'm doing per character. The way I play open ended games like Octopath Traveler is that I just go to whatever is nearby, so it feels like a natural adventure. So, the question is, which do you think is the best way to play the 2nd game? should I just pick 4 characters I really like and complete all main stories for each and then take the other 4 and start from chapter 1 and finish them all together? I had to put the game on the bench for some months and then I took it again and finished all characters main stories. The problem with this was that sometimes I had to grind to get some levels for the characters I was not using and that kind of got me a little bit tired. What I did was to complete all chapters 1, then all 2 and all 3. But something I really struggled was the non exp sharing for benching characters and the way to tackle everybodys story. ![]() The wait is killing me and I have to ask a question to all of you that have played the first game for a long time.įirst, let me tell you I loved the first game, I really loved the stories, the combat and Olberic is one of the best characters I have played in a video game (I became very attached to him). ![]()
